NEWS:
The summer has been kind to us this year, with the majority of trips going ahead instead of the usual cancelled trips which we were starting to take for granted!
The mid channel trips have been producing some good catches earlier on with plenty of Cod and Pollock, but the cod seem to have disappeared, I’ve been seeing large trawlers out their, and not from our shores!!!
The off shore banks have been fishing well, with some good Tope and rays, our best blonde ray this year is 28lbs caught by Simon Wiltshire. With a lot more over 20lbs.
The mackerel were a bit of a worry, showing up very late, but seem to be pretty plentiful now, lets hope they stay around a while yet!
My boats coming out of the water for a bit of work from the 24th - 31st August.
